  • Questions and What went wrong Today mainly focused on combining de la heva and ankle locks and inside position guards. - From delaheva had difficulity taking the back from general from a Jason rau under hook knee down position - But more specifically when I have deep dela heva but their not letting me put their knee down to chase the back bc they flaring their knee hard so they keeping one leg up. - When opponent stood up in butterfly ashi and I collected both ankles and forced their weight over me and both their hands to the mat. I found it impossible for some reason to get to a belly down ankle lock. - When opp is one knee down in butterfly ashi and I pummel my knee in to readjust grip as soon as I get the foot off the mat and grip readjusted he forces his foot back into mat making it impossible to finish. Ask when pummeling knee in butterfly ashi to adjust grips and get foot off ground where the non pummeling knee leg would go. foot should go on hip or just be across body?? es
  • Technique learned today.
  • Opponent puts one knee down as well as forcing his foot into the ground prevent the straight ankle.
  • start taking little shrimps while lifting his foot with your grip to pummel your knee inside adjust your grip and pummel your knee out and go back to butterfly ashi make sure with your free hand you are framing against their near shoulder.
  • No reaction to the pummeling
  • they dig in an underhook while you have your knee pummeled which makes it impossible to finish straight ankle if go back to butterfly ashi.
  • Keep your knee that's pummeled as well as your frame (in GI switch from frame to far lapel) elevate above and away from you while switching to a scoop grip and cross lat under hook on the other side going to x gaurd to wrestle up.
  • But if they don't keep knee straight and try turning away from you while putting pressure into you
  • Take your butterfly hook out place on opps armpit/back/delt area and hip up while shooting your other leg and lock your legs to kind of weird reverse closed gaurd. Switch their leg to other side and grab it with an underhook while coming up with an elbow to grab their waste.
  • Opp tips weight forward towards their hands or kind of does nothing ig?
  • Opp tips weight backwards toward their back.
  • Come up and keep a kosoto hook while getting seatbelt to take back while inserting a hook.
  • tip them backwards and when you get up pummel your leg and legdrag/ thighdrag.
