Crucifix Choke

1 / 3
/Overview

The crucifix choke is a constricting submission performed from the 'crucifix' control position. From a dominant position, trap one of the opponent's arms across their body while maintaining tight control of their opposite arm and upper torso. Use your legs to trap their head in a comfortable configuration. With your hand, reach across their body to the base of their neck and secure a grip on their gi collar or the back of their neck. Pull their head and neck tightly into position, allowing their shoulder on the pinned arm to restrict their movement, ultimately resulting in a submission.
