The Kipping Escape is a dynamic and explosive escape technique primarily used from the bottom Mount position in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. It centers around a powerful, sudden hip bridge (the "kip") combined with sharp leg retraction (often bringing knees towards the chest or using a foot push). This explosive upward and inward motion aims to create significant space quickly, disrupting the opponent's base and allowing the defender to transition out of mount, often into half guard or a scramble to recover guard.
